★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was quite nice. Plenty of seating with booths on the window. There isn't much parking though and it is quite hard to get out of.
Had the pancakes and they were alright. They did smell better than they tasted though. Decent portions for the price.

A good selection of pies, sandwiches
& cakes along with hot & cold drinks reasonably priced.
Helpful friendly staff with quiet background music playing made a great place for a pit stop after our train ride down from Auckland.

Cabinet food is excellent and they also have an extensive cooked menu.
And the cakes and slices are worth a visit all.of their own.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A solid kiwi cafe with all the family's favourites for very reasonable prices! Staff is friendly and service is fast. Highlights include citrus tart, hot chips and mice pies. We are regulars at this cafe as the food and drink quality is always consistently good.

Lemon and sour cream cake wasn't as moist as I'd hoped.
Food and drinks service to the table was extremely stunted. Left our table feeling very awkward as we waited over 10 mins between two meals being served and also having our child's fluffy served last after everyone had received and drunk theirs.
