★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Needs a jetty added, the new ramp is better but still falls abit short. Combined with high jetski use there is generally washout holes at the end of ramp.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lot of parking for cars. The boat ramp is quite wide. We do not own a boat but we went to Pukete Boat Ramp for a walk along the river. There is wide pavement for cycling and walking. However, it can be dangerous when cyclists are riding. This track will take you right along the Waikato river. The track is not steep. We walk for 7 km and then returned the same track.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Big improvement down there with new concrete, sealing at the top and looks great.
If the steep gravel continuation of the ramp is exposed make sure you have a 4WD or a tow rope. Guys were struggling to retrieve small jet ski trailers last week.
