★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great place to walk the dog. And, I guess, a great place to go if you have a mountain bike! I don't.
The bike tracks are maintained by the Puni MTB Club. I would love to see the jumps etc being used because they look like fun.
The area is an extinct volcano, and is the site of a Maori Pa. Unfortunately this part is overgrown and needs some TLC. There is a tohu at the summit, which is good to look at.
