★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice course in great condition for August. Be prepared for a few step hills and some great views. Star off because the clubhouse was (and apparently usually is) closed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful views and course is in great condition. Serious steep up, down, left sloping and righ sloping fairways and some areas crossing close to where other balls land. But friendly club and great golfing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were struck by a golf ball while driving passed the course on East Coast road. The response from the staff member was that "it happens all the time" and that we needed to "be more careful"..... Good to know the course feels it is worth putting barriers up to protect the cars in the club carpark but no sympathy given to those that might sustain serious harm on their way home (serves them right I suppose). I'll be sure to keep my eyes open particularly wide next time and will get practicing my evasive manoeuvres. Maybe the course can lend me a copy of Dodgeball?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best golf course in NZ really enjoyed playing here although it’s tough to play ( golfers who play here for the first time need to prepare lots of balls ) you’ll have a lot of fun
