★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I recently moved into the Quail Ridge Country Club, situated in the beautiful Bay of Islands..
It’s amazing. Firstly, the quality of the building of our Villa is very high. The building planning phase went well. I never wanted to build a house - far too much stress, as reported by my friends who have done this.
The interior is surburb. Everything is new and we are still learning the new appliances. It’s the little touches which make this an amazing Village. Light switch dimmers, heated floors in the two bathrooms, carpet in the garage, double glazing throughout and that is just the start.
Comments from other Residends and local people seems to support that Quail Ridge Country Club has set a very high standard for Senior Living for the over 55s. It can be matched against any quality Village in New Zealand.
We are happy to encourage others to visit the Quail Ridge Country Club website and when possible, visit the Country Club in Kerikeri.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quail Ridge – A completely family owned business, is an absolute stunning 45 acre property housing superior quality built homes and a very friendly community of vital interesting people.
Making the move after many years of being a Waiheke Island resident, I wondered how retiring to a gated community would be but within a few days knew this was exactly the right choice for my husband and I. Nine months further on, we would not reverse this decision.... it just gets better and better!
This is not like any other retirement village or housing estate we had ever seen – Quail Ridge is so superior in every way especially with the appeal of maintaining your independence and individuality.
With the security of knowing medical attention is at the push of a button, relaxing in a modern new home with every convenience, enjoying a diverse range of social events & clubs, snooker room, club house, residents workshop for the “handy men & women” amongst us, plus with future facilities underway, swimming pool complex, restaurant, movie theater, bridge connecting to the local golf club and much much more.... these are all factors that add to the pleasure of living on the border of Rainbow Falls.
Quail Ridge’s beautiful grounds are always a pleasure to venture through: the Mandarin Grove, scenic twin lakes & a waterfall hosting resident’s remote controlled yacht racing are bordered by quiet streets with strategically placed kerbside seating providing a pretty rest stop within easy walking distance.
Kerikeri & Waipapa townships mere minutes away by car, tourist spots, glorious beaches, local cafes & markets, craft fairs & galleries, vineyards and so much more offer every leisure time activity very close to home.
If you’re in “that certain age group” then Quail Ridge is the perfect place to be.
