Sorry I didn't like this sourdough bread, as it yeast has been risen, and sourdough bread is not supposed to be like that, as it should be thick bread with no holes in it, as I like it more thicker than that, and the price is expensive, as I can pay a gluten free bread from the supermarket for the same price, and I get more bread per the price, as our one was flat, and not enough for everyone, and I could make one at home better!

Got there towards closing on a Sunday, bought a good soughdoh with rosemary and olive. A little dry for my liking, however, it had the smell of a decent bakery. I'll definitely try to get there earlier next time, suspect the locals nabbed the goodies lol

The smell is as amazing as the baked goodies! Our family all have their favorites but Sourdough is epic! Friendly efficient staff. Can't go past the little gem of a bread shop in the middle of Raglan.

Especially loved the vegetarian pizza bread which they kindly heated up in the oven. A few small tables are set up outside to enjoy the delicious food.

Gluten free bread was the worst I have ever tasted I had to sharpen my bread knife to cut it and even then I felt like I had a workout I didn’t want to waste it after all it cost me $9.00 for this lump of clay which I would not have bought if I had been able to pick it up and squeeze it (but I couldn’t as it was not in a bag and it would be inappropriate to touch it in todays world ) It took 8 mins to slightly toast it I tried to make it into bread crumbs so as not to waste it but it turned to dough This is not artisan bread I cannot imagine anyone would come back and buy this bread again If you are going to make gluten free bread get some honest feed back from your regular clients
