At Rainbow Colours Canvas Art Supplies we are passionate about developing the finest Art Canvases and UV Protection Varnishing System, and after extensive research, and using American know-how and Technology, we have created our own Canvas Printing System under the brand name Rainbow Colours®. It delivers the most archival and colour-stable fine art reproduction available. We have Canvases for Water Based (Dye/Pigment) Ink Printers as well as Solvent, eco-solvent and Latex Ink Printers, Our water based, semi-gloss UV Protection Varnish Coating is the best and most economical available. Our wooden Stretcher Frames are made from kiln dried finger jointed pine, to avoid distortion.

Not only is the varnish the best we have used, the service is second to none as well. Great stuff John - keep it up!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been printing fine art prints since 2005 and have always used Breathing Colours Glamour II because I was told it was the best varnish in the industry. I was never totally happy with it because it wouldn’t dry totally streak free as it claimed and always felt like it was still tacky even after days of drying. Fortunately I discovered Rainbows varnish a couple of years ago and it’s 10 times better than Glamour II in every way. No more streaks, no more tackiness that’s why it gets 5 stars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been a full time fine artist for 10 yrs and have started producing my own prints a year ago after having them produced by another company for 7 yrs. I have swapped from using Breathing Color’s ‘prestigious’ (and expensive) Lyve canvas and their Satin Varnish to Rainbow Colours poly cotton canvas and semi gloss varnish a couple of months ago to produce my very large, limited edition fine art prints, and I am extremely impressed! The canvas is a beautiful bright white in comparison to BC Lyve, which helps greatly in achieving all the colours in my prints. It has a lovely weight and texture and stretches over a frame with ease and no splitting of the print fibers like with other canvas’s. The Varnish far out weighs Breathing Color, only needing one coat for a very easy to achieve streak free covering in comparison to 2 coats and still difficult to achieve streak free (even though BC claim to have the best streak free coating!!). Rainbow Colors’ is also around 1/4 of the price! These days I literally just slosh it on in careless globs and roll all over without worry, this is meant to be the most stressful part of printing! I also very much enjoy the quick and friendly service. I cannot recommend Rainbow Colours enough to all artists out there wanting to print their works.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been a Fine Art Printer for over 20 years, and have been using the satin/semigloss varnish from Rainbow Colours for over 7 years now. I can fully recommend this product. It gives a beautiful finish to canvas prints, as well as making them UV resistant and waterproof.
I would also give 5 stars to this company for their service and communication.
