★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well worth 2 visits while on holiday in Christchurch. Food is excellent and the staff very friendly. Stand outs were the chicken burger, the bread platter including pickles and brunch the next day. Also had amazing coffee!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Popped into rascal today for some lunch. We enjoyed leek and sesame croquettes, fried chicken the the pork belly bites. All of the food was delicious, but the real highlight was the pork belly bites. We were served by a lovely waitress who was upbeat and attentive without being intrusive. There were also many dogs enjoying the space as well which was nice to see.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to Rascal for a brunch with my friend and our dogs. The inside of the restaurant has a very cool vibe and it’s really cozy with the sitting area by the Gas fire. Dogs are really welcome inside and there’s also a small patio/courtyard that you can access. The food is really yummy and out of the box so very good breakfast/lunch & bar snacks options, really enjoyed.
They also had doggo treats that look so yummy and my dog love it.
The staff is really friendly and they take good care of you and your doggo.
We had an awesome brunch and we went back a couple of days after to try something else from the menu
