★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was a 30 minute wait. Our Waitress messed up our order so we ended up having to pay for an extra meal that we did not order. The person at the till messed up our bill so the last person to pay at our table had a bunch of things on her bill that wasn't hers. No meal checks, reassurances on meal times. Parts of our food was missing (like our onion rings) and by the time we got our food it was cold
Iced chocolates were dreadful, the only great thing about the restaurant is the location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have been here a few times now. The team are professional but relaxed. Seating options include in and outside overlooking the Taylor River. The food is always very good. Depending on day and time, you will sometimes need to book a table in advance. An easy recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped in Laupo for lunch. The staff were friendly and we got a seat overlooking the river. The food was good, the potatoes and Kumara Chaat were really tasty, I highly recommend this dish. Good wine list with lots of local wines.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our first time at Raupo. Service, views, cleanliness all lovely. Food looked and tasted amazing and was perfectly paced between courses.
They asked for vaccine passes.
Dogs allowed outside which was lovely for us, but may not be for others.
