The Dove shop and salvation army in panmure sell bags of toys for $3-5 better quality, cleaner & transparent pricing.
However red cross no prices were displayed to inform customers, how much the toys costs, yet everything else instore has a price tag/label.... even the books next to the toys has a sign "books $1 unless otherwise"
Why is that?? so they can charge whatever they want? certainly seems that way.

However, when I handed in the donation of designer clothing, boots & handbag etc, the manager didn't attempt to assist me with heavy items from the car, expecting me to move them to back of shop when she had a trolly to help me. They were v heavy. There was no thank you either.. .
If my donation was not wanted just say so please.
I called Dove in GI who apologised profusely that they couldn't take the donation today.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This store had an old crown Lynn dinner set which had crazing. As crazing in vintage sets is poisonous I mentioned the crazing to the shopkeeper (unsure if she was the manger) and her reaction was “there’s absolutely nothing wrong with it. Nothing wrong with it!” Shaken by her hostile reaction I said ok and walked out. I regret not telling her otherwise. I understand this is a charity but there must be a level of health and safety? at least do your due diligence, bin the set or at the very least warn your customers, who may be unwitting. Very disappointing to see.
