★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved it a nice little walk and dogs on leash are allowed. Walking quietly you can here the birds like the beautiful tui even saw the tui on the branch

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely bit of bush with nice trails. Not so many old trees but great bird life with kaka, tui, falcons, grey warblers and fantails. Great wee spot

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this smallish reserve, some of the largest Tawa and Kohekohe trees you'll find anywhere. Short tracks with plenty to see as you move from old growth to regrowth bush. Good variety of plants in the canopy and subcanopy to botanise with some new signage to help you identify that tree. Tracks are pretty basic and not really pushchair suitable.
