About Regency Plumbing Limited
Regency Plumbing is an Auckland based plumbing and gas fitting company.
Regency Plumbing was founded in May 1998 with one clear purpose, to make a real difference in the plumbing industry. We set out to be a World Class Plumbing Company, not just another plumbing company. Subsequently today we are a flourishing and award winning business, that has recently celebrated 23 years of greatness, which is a real milestone for any business. Regency Plumbing continues to go from strength to strength with rapid growth year on year, and has recently been given a real boost with the addition of two new directors Pete Dallas, and Shaun Smith that have both bought shares in the company.
How it all began…
“I hadn’t long started my apprenticeship in plumbing and gas fitting and came to realize rather quickly that plumbers didn’t always have such a good name. They were often referred to as rude and obnoxious, were subject to fleecing people and not giving good value, commonly they would turn up late, if at all, and when they did would arrive with their backsides hanging out of their trousers. So this was not so great, however it was obvious to me from a very young age, there would be a wonderful opportunity to change this perception people had about plumbers. I passionately wanted people to believe that we were professionals, we really could impress people, and we were not just rough, untidy, tradesman.”
So, Regency Plumbing began and we’ve never looked back since.
We continue to improve and come up with new ideas and initiatives, and are widely recognized by the industry to be the market leader. We never compromise our service, and will never give up trying to be the best we possibly can be.

โ โ โ โ โ Regency plumbing replaced my old hot water cylinder with a continuous flow LPG hot water system. The team showed up on time, installed the system as per the quote. The team were friendly and i felt more than comfortable having them in my home. I will be using them in the future when i remodel my laundry. โ โ โ โ โ We first engaged the team at Regency to renovate our ensuite. We found them to be extremely professional, provided great advice, communicated well through the whole process and we were very happy with the end result. They do more than just the plumbing - they provided some fantastic suggestions which improved the outcome of the whole project - the vertical heated towel rails look great and are very effective in a confined space.
Recently we've had them renovate our main bathroom - once again a fantastic outcome. Regan, Pete and Kyle and their teams did a great job and managed some challenging timeframes extremely well.

โ โ โ โ โ I have never done a major (or even an minor) renovation before and so this was a scary and expensive process for me.
From the beginning Regency Plumbers made the process easy and comfortable.
All my questions were answered and I was confident that they had listened to what I wanted and that it would happen on time and on budget.
At Level 4, lock down stopped work for four weeks but Regency Plumbing organised alternative showering facilities for the duration, at their expense.
As soon as we were at level 3, they re-started my renovation and completed it with speed and accuracy.
Their attention to detail towards the end of my renovation was brilliant - poor Shaun must have been sick of my numerous texts but he never complained!
Those final details matter to me because they pull together the whole look. While not expensive in themselves, they are still important. Regency Plumbing understood this.
Communication was great throughout the process and none of my fears about making expensive mistakes occurred.
When I added extra detail to the renovation partway through (painting the separate toilet area a matching colour, for example), they re-quoted and added this to the To Do List, no problem.
This flexibility for a newbie like myself, was fantastic.
Nothing seemed to be too much trouble.
While my renovation was probably chickenfeed compared to the big jobs they get, I always felt important and that my renovation mattered to them.
I ADORE my new beautiful bathroom and I send up a little message of thanks to Regency Plumbing every time I cross the threshold.
Not sure how long that will last but I know that the love of my new bathroom will continue for a very long time.

โ โ โ โ โ The renovation of our new bathroom is now completed after being halted in level 4 lockdown. Pete kept in touch over that 5 week period, checking in to see how we were going particularly with the port-a-shower and did we have enough gas! This was very much appreciated as was the commitment to finish the job once we moved to level 3.
Kyle & the subcontractors were great. Everyone turned up on time and nothing was a problem when we had questions or issues.
The bathroom looks fantastic and is exactly what we hoped it would be.
We would highly recommend Regency Plumbing to anyone who is wanting their bathroom renovated.
