★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you think Queenstown is beautiful, you have seen nothing if you haven't seen it from the top. This is probably the most amazingly stunning and jaw dropping view I ever saw both in person and online.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best views in Queenstown, I hiked up shadows basin and then hiked up the rocks to the top. Was definitely worth the climb and the view both Queenstown side and down onto lake Alta are worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely remarkable! if you at remarkable this is a opportunity that shouldnot be missed. it's a short walk from the top of the shadow basin chair. There are two places for photo opportunities, but the top is the best. Suggest to pick your day, as it can get very windy and it's a longway down. ski or boarding down is great if experienced. have fun.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want a amazing view of the Queenstown area try and get to this point! Take the road to the Rastus Burn Remarkables Skifeild complex. then get a Chairlift to the Ridge and find this gap in the Mountains. or Get Heliworks to fly you up from the airport. Climbing from the Kingston Higway side is not advisable for non alpine club members.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To find the viewpoint you have to follow the ski lift on the right handside from the car park. If you do it on the summer there is a path going to the top of the ski lift. From there you look up to your right an you'll see a metal railing, you just climb up there throught the rocks. There is no path or track but it's easy in summer. The view is spectacular, well worth it. Chose a clear, sunny day
