★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Solid Chinese takeaways. I had the pork on rice with vegetables. The mushroom and cashews were bursts of deliciousness and the vegetables were fresh and crisp. They also have a Street Fighter II arcade game, it takes $1, $2 coins. Will eventually go back and get something else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pros: open late / long hours. Close to the hospital. Cons: it's standard fish n chips. They got rid of their arcade games. Also sometimes the customers are a little intoxicated especially late at night/ early morning on weekends. This could be a pro if you are intoxicated yourself or want free entertainment from the locals I suppose. Staff are pretty good especially considering what they must have to put up with.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was mistaken about the hours on the weekend, so at first I had a pie from 4 square which was a bit soggy.
Fortunately the shop opened at 5pm on weekends, so we had fish and chips with potato fritters and a pineapple fritter.
I have to say, very crisp and not too greasy.
Gave us double the potato fritters, and my sick partner couldn't finish it, but definitely better than hospital food.
Only negative is they need more seats as they are popular.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Best Fish and Chips for miles. Very nice healthy chips and the fish is always a decent size,solid protein, and the batter is thin and not full of greasy oils.$9 for Fish & Chips.
The Chinese is above average quality.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These guys have been around forever...20 years plus in my estimation. They are a classic Chinese takeaway. Good ol cheap and greasy rice bowl is no more! It's better quality but uber eats has ruined pricing once again. Either way check them out, pity they lost the arcade machines.
