★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Politely greeted,clean and well groomed camp. Amazing big trees all around beside the river was peaceful. The art work was very eye catching. I loved the lawnmower bike and the legs with boots on up in the air. Lost. Music going in the toilets and showers was great.?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed overnight in a powered site at Riverside Motor Camp on our way down to Wellington recently. It is the cleanest, most well presented motor camp I have ever stayed at. The staff are helpful and friendly and the camp is located in a lovely setting next to the Wairoa River. We will be back for a longer stay next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderfully quiet site with very friendly owners. I stayed a couple of nights over the long weekend. Wairoa is a great base for travelling around the Bay to places of interest and has some great takeaway food places too. Wairoa has a nice river side walk and some beautiful buildings too. Good value for money, and extremely clean. Has everything you could want, I would definitely recommend.
