About Road Signs & Traffic Control Equipment Limited RTL
RTL manufactured our first road sign over 30 years ago! We have come a long way since then and are proud to be a major supplier of static traffic signs and electronic road safety and traffic management equipment in NZ.
In addition to local signs manufacturing we also represent leading global manufacturers like TrafFix Devices, Vermac, Pexco, Saris, Smarterlite etc. Our product suite extends from the humble road sign and road cone (compliant to TCD and CoPTTM of course!) to cycling Infrastructure products like bike repair stands and wave delineators, large gantry and motorway signs, through to heavy duty advance warning electronic signage and life saving crash attenuators.
Our experienced team around the country make the difference. Some of us have been in the industry for more than 20 years and we have been lucky enough to continue recruiting equally passionate and dedicated team members, whose main driver is SAFETY.
Across the business, we prioritise the safety of road crews and road users, by ensuring our products operate as they were designed too. Our electronics range is supported by a team of experienced electrical and electronic engineers whom in addition to reactive repairs also carry out our preventative maintenance programme in the field. This programme champions safety solutions and finds faults before they become hazards.
Our goal is to work closely with our Customers, Road Controlling Authorities, Industry Associations like the RSMA and CCNZ (to name a few!) and Waka Kotahi Transport Agency (NZTA) to continuously improve the safety standards on NZ roads.
