★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's the industrial site on the north side of the corner of Humber and Derwent streets. I can never find this place when I need it. It seems it is a bit like the entrance to Narnia. That is: if you go looking for it directly you won't find it. But you'll see it often as you drive past on the way to or from other places.
Anyway they refill regular cooking gas cylinders e.g. 9KG BBQ cylinders and they also can do Soda Stream cyclinders (small sized 30 litre ones and also the 60 litre larger ones - if it's emptied of all the remaining gas first) and also some other cylinders that use Carbon Dioxide (CO2) as the gas. They are helpful and take EFTPOS for payments.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The people at Rockgas Oamaru are friendly and helpful. We live 40 minutes out of town and never have any problems getting our gas supplied on time. Safety checks are really good. The delivery driver noticed we had an issue with a hose and followed safety protocols correctly while also letting us know about it so we could get it fixed.
