Firstly, let’s wind back a few years….
Alex Rodgers, (Mike’s dad) originally established Alex Rodgers Insurance Brokers in 1975.
Alex was one of those brokers who knew his clients like he knew his own children. This meant if anything ever happened to his clients he was always there to battle for a claim. Alex was the president of the LBA (Life Brokers Association) for two years. This meant he didn’t just wait for the industry to regulate itself – he helped orchestrate these improvements we have all seen in today’s world. Alex went on to manage thousand’s of satisfied households over his 30 years in the industry. He specialized in Life, General and Business Insurance. Alex’s tenacity, extensive market knowledge and concrete customer loyalty are all traits he passed through to his son and protégé, Mike.
Established in April 2012, Mike created Rodgers Insurance with the hope of carrying on the same legacy his father had left. The aim has always been to offer clients a fresh and user friendly approach – to help you connect the dots between your personal goals and aspirations and insurance protection. We know the world is changing. We know insurance products are evolving. We want you to know this too. We want you to actually understand what you’re covered for (rather than just seeing an insurance document). We do pride ourselves on keeping you in the loop and being serious experts at Personal Risk insurances.
As mentioned, we are not your jack of all trade’s brokers. We purely focus on you and your health, and how you can develop effective strategies to protect yourself.

We have been so appreciative of how easy it is to deal with Mike, he is so responsive and professional and he really goes in to bat for us if/when we have needed to claim. He always answers any questions we have and makes the process easy and accessible.
Recently we have had to make a claim for a private colonoscopy and we are SO grateful we had this insurance in place because the wait via the public system was huge. Well worth it.
