The ranges are restricted to the firing of the following firearms:

Range One

[a] Pistols up to and including .45 Calibre
[b] Shotguns up to and including 10 Gauge
[c] Rifles up to and including .223 Calibre
[d] Rifles chambered for Pistol ammunition up to and including .45 Calibre

Range Two

[a] Pistols up to and including .45 Calibre
[b] Shotguns up to and including 10 Gauge
[c] Rifles up to and including .311 Calibre. High power rifles may only be used on this range with committee approval.
[d] Rifles chambered for Pistol ammunition up to and including .45 Calibre.
[e] Blackpowder rifles up to and including .75 Calibre

[f] Air pistols & air rifles.

Range Three

[a] Pistols up to and including .45 Calibre
[b] Rifles up to and including .311 Calibre.
[c] Rifles chambered for Pistol ammunition up to and including .45 Calibre.
[d] Black Powder rifles up to .75 Calibre.

[e} Shotguns up to and including 10 Gauge

Range Four (Sighting In)

[a] Pistols up to and including .45 Calibre
[b] Rifles up to and including .311 Calibre.
[c] Rifles chambered for Pistol ammunition up to and including .45 Calibre.
[d] Black Powder rifles up to .75 Calibre.

[e} Shotguns up to and including 10 Gauge

Range Five

[a] Pistols up to and including .45 Calibre
[b] .22 Rimfire Rifle only.

Range Six

[a] Pistols up to and including .45 Calibre
[b] Rifles chambered for Pistol ammunition up to and including .45 Calibre
[c] Shotguns up to and including 10 Gauge
[d] Air pistols & air rifles.

All Ranges

• No fully automatic firearms may be used on any range at any time unless express permission is given by the Club President..
• All steel targets to be engaged at a minimum distance of 7 meters
• No firearms that have had alterations or modifications made to them that makes them illegal or unsafe may be used on these ranges at any time
• No Firearms that are held against a “C” Category firearms Licence may be used on any range at any time.
• All Courses of fire for IPSC matches and Cowboy Action matches to be approved by the duty Range Officer where applicable.
• The Direction of fire on all ranges must be maintained in a direction that ensures all shots can be contained within the confines of the main stop butt.
• No bullet impact from direct fire is permitted into the range surface. RR&GC Range Standing Orders 2021.
