Ruahine Midwives is here for you before birth and beyond, offering complete midwifery services from conception to six weeks after birth. Best of all our services are free and fully government funded. For your convenience we have a care centre in Palmerston North, including a pharmacy and laboratory services. We are also on call 24/7 and can come to your home anywhere in the area, as well as rural areas such as Marton, Ashurst, Shannon and Foxton. My wife being a non resident pregnant mother, was treated kindly and very patiently through out the pregnancy period by Leah, it was an amazing service. She has a genuine passion for her job and she is really dedicated to her clients 24/7. we highly recommend her to any pregnant mother. Sarah, the first midwife we met, also was an excellent inspiration for us during her short service offered at the beginning. our gratitude to both of you.
