★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can highly recommend John and the quality of his work, he did an excellent job of removing the rust from the rear wheel well of my car after it had failed the wof. He even took the car back to the testing station for me to have it rechecked to make sure it would pass. If you are looking for a reliable and friendly service at a fraction of the cost you would be charged from a panelbeater then John's rust repair shop is the place to go!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came to John 2 weeks before I booked the appointment. I asked him specifically if he can do it on day requested because I had a busy schedule. He assured me it was possible but it just took 1 day to let the paint dry so smith and smith can put the windshield back on. I trusted him and took his word for it cause he seemed like a good guy. So I called smith and smith and booked the 2 appointments we agreed on(one to remove the glass and the other to put it back on). He said if I bring it in Monday It'll be ready by Tuesday. I dropped the car off to smith and smith and called him to let him know the car was in there and he could just pick it up. He said yup he'll pick it up and do it. I called him back on Tuesday to make sure it was all done and sadly...he said he hasn't even painted it yet. I asked him why, he said he had other things to finish up and couldn't do mine. I told him I went to him two weeks before to make sure he could do it on the same day and all he said was I'm sorry these things happen and that he couldn't argue cause he had things to do. He didn't even call me the day to tell me that he was busy so I could've changed the appointment to pick it up. He didn't even apologize that he didn't do it instead shrugged me off and said he'll just paint it now and he'll drop the car in smith and smith so they can put the glass on it. So I told him the reason he told me to wait for the paint to dry is so the windshield doesn't fly off when I drive. He then said yeah, they'll probably put it back on Wednesday morning. I have work and I asked him politely 2 weeks before since I was extremely busy to make sure he gets this done! I understand that it may be busy but he needs to be accountable to let us know before hand if he can not complete a job in time. And just lie to customers just so he can get in more business. If he had called and told me that it wasn't going to be finished today, I would've been upset but I would understand. But to not be accountable for his actions if just horrible customer service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great job from John after WOF failed because of rust, he fixed other leaks and rust problems that he discovered on closer inspection. He takes the time to show you where and how things are an issue - takes photos. As long as you have a realistic idea on time frame and know that things don't happen in an instant especially in an industry when unexpected issues can pop-up after starting the job, you will be a satisfied customer.
