★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Salt Air used to be our favourite cafe that we regularly visited. But no longer. Just before Christmas we went for dinner. Both of us fully vaxxed with vaccine passports downloaded in our phone. I showed mine and then partner realised he had no data so could not access his. His little purple card would not cut the mustard (fair enough) but cafe would not allow us to use their WiFi to access his phone, nor did they offer to let us do take aways instead, or eat outside. Owner dismissed us rudely, with no smile. We are very disappointed and will never go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best Fish Meal on the Tutukaka Coast, Pizzas are also nice, Steak Meal needs improvement. Nice chilled and relax quiet cafe ... new chef and waiter started...lovely couple :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just cam back from Australia and was told Salt Air had the best food, oh how disappointed were we $83 for two small pieces of Snapper with not even a handful of chips, salad was very poor, Chicken burger had no taste either.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best berry smoothie I've had so far. And the food is good, had savory muffin, yummy! Great beach ambience. Definitely worth a stop when you are heading north.
