About Salt Central
As a church we believe that Jesus wants us to pursue our best life. Our goal is for everyone to find a place where they are passionate and excited about being a part of the team, and doing life together. One that makes a difference beyond us, both locally and globally. Salt is an Assemblies of God church and one of the first in our movement to form in 1927.
Jesus told us in Matthew 5:13 that we were to be salt in the world. This is why we call ourselves Salt. "Let me tell you why you are here. You're here to be Salt-seasoning that brings out the god-flavours of this earth. If you lose your saltiness, how will people taste godliness? You've lost your usefulness and will end up in the garbage" (Matthew 5:13) MSG.
