β β β β β Love the Salvo's. Huge store with lots to feast your eyes on. Great little book corner for adults with a coffee machine. However what wasnt good on the day- two tills - one operating, four staff - three talking amongst themselves with a queue at the till.

β β β β β Love this place I shop here weekly and the store is very clean and displays always look fantastic.
Prices can be quite high on some products - but it goes to charity so happy to pay.

β β β β β The Salvation Army is suppose to provide the 'much-needed relief in tight household budgets' and considering the financial state of most, this salvation army is overpriced. You are looking at no less than $5 per clothing item and that's even for the 'not so nice' items. Credit due to the $1 bin is a good idea but unfortunate for those that have a form of disability that doesn't allow them to look.
Since the extension they have got some better stuff but considering what they get is donated it's greedy to say the least for some of the things I saw eg. $50 for a small mirror with Angels, $20 for a dress, $10 for a PS2 game?
Throughout the shop a strong odor of unrination was extremely unpleasant, as was the heavy eye of the workers surveying the customers making them converse next to me about being uncomfortable.
Otherwise the place is tidy and beautifully laid out.
Racks are clearly marked making it easier to find what you are looking for and items are of good quality. I did in the least walk out with a DVD $2 and some small wall shelves $10.
