★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a small thing but they have a large welcoming (with windows) waiting area. As to the approach, it is very gentle with actions explained. They are very understanding of nerviness. If you have a fear of dentists and dental work these are the people for you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a 33 yo Male with strong baby boomer tendancies who had been too busy to go to the dentist since 2006 this was going to be interesting. After being physically escorted into the building by my wife I soon realised escape was futile. From the friendly staff on reception to the lovely dentist who distracted me after I discovered possible escape through the lift shaft the initial experience was great. A lovely waiting area which was definitely not like the abattoir I had experienced last decade! Again escorted to the chair I noticed the smiling faces and lack of power tools things were looking up. Not a cordless drill in sight. As the sedation especially chosen because of the chicken I am was administered with utmost care I drifted to somewhere fabulous. After awakening to a frustrated work colleague of mine who had been waiting 1m 47 seconds on the phone for me to remember why I called him I recall nothing. My wife tells me that all the staff were fantastic and very helpful to a difficult pre boomer like me. The icing on the cake was the phone call on Saturday to see how I was! My own kids didn't even ask that! Will definitely recommend Sanctuary Dental thanks guys!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The waiting room at Sanctuary Dental feels like the drawing room of a fancy hotel; natural light, spacious, book shelves that make you feel like you are in someone's home, chilled music and air con (thank god!).
Yvonne and her staff are FANTASTIC!! After having a lot of dental work (not always pleasant work) done at other clinics I'm so relieved to have found them! Yvonne has a perfect balance of being self assured and confident with what she is doing but is also super tuned into you as the patient. She's very sensitive to your needs, making sure that you are doing ok throughout. I needed a couple of fillings, Yvonne let me know about the different options (one included fluoride). She gave me the facts but didn't sway me and also didn't rush me while I phoned my partner as I was unsure about what to do. During the actual procedure, she made sure that enough anesthetic was given so that I wasn't in any discomfort at all and I actually managed to relax! If you feel nervous about the dentist, THIS is the place for you, I can't recommend them highly enough! :)

I run two clinics in Auckland and routinely recommend my clients see Yvonne, she is one of only a small group (less than I can count on one hand) dentists in New Zealand that I trust is keeping up with research and delivers WORLD CLASS service. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best dentist I have been to, many of the details about the clinic were what I had hoped for on one of the last dental visits years ago at a different clinic - they got everything right! This Dental practice is not at all sterile - has all the right touches & fantastic care from start to finish. Pain free. An actually relaxing experience from someone that has had bad child hood experience & dislikes sterile environments & panics I can't believe I actually enjoyed going to the Dentist, thank you so much the dentist(s) & all staff are amazing & dedicated to what they do.

I went there knowing I was in need of alot of work to keep me going for years to come.
I was very nervous, having had BAD dental experiences.
I was So nervous I almost walked out. Three appointments on and im so pleased with my dental work. Jagdeep and Karvia (sorry for spelling) are amazing.
So gentle, caring and Professional. I will never go anywhere else, have and will recommended Sancury.
Lindsey is also lovely at reception to welcome you in.

All the staff are lovely and caring, and the environment also makes you feel at ease. I will be making this place my go to for future dental check ups and treatment.
