★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't understand how they justify their extremely high price tags when their clothing etc was all donated and second hand. You're better off buying new on sale. Also, they do not accept cash.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place has racks and racks of clothing, so overwhelming in a way. Such a shame they don't have the half price coloured price tags every week like they use to have. I'm sure they would have more sales. Yr prices are too expensive for an opshop. "just saying"

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you have a mask exemption expect to be grilled and belittled. I'm happy to show my exemption card, but disgusted with the comments that "healthy looking people shouldn't have exemptions" It is no one's business why an exemption issued and not all illness's are visible.
SaveMart please train your staff to be respectful of people with disabilities.

Really friendly and helpful staff. We love shopping here and look forward to our visits when we are in Whanganui.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I used to go here as a child with my mother, and the prices were amazing; now it's over priced. You'd find a raggy pair of jeans for over $15 dollars and tops with bad stains over $20. Also, they forced a mask on my exempt friend (who has a severe medical reason) but he put a mask on anyway, but they still treated him poorly. Shame on them!
Congrats! You've lost 4 customers.

I thought it was a second-hand shop, but the prices are the same as new items (some even higher than their original value). There were so many coats and jackets for $89.99?! And plenty of things were not clean at all...
