They took the time to show me the options available, discussed recomendatiions and gave me a full factory tour. I learnt heaps about their approach to high standards and quality. A superb product built to perform and last. Heaps of personal customisation options available. I can't wait to be a proud Senator owner.

β β β β β I enjoyed the first new Senator 620 I purchased in 2013 that much I decided to go Commercial & upsize to a 780 & enter it into MOSS. I rate the boat itself a 9 out of 10, itβs quite simply a great boat, and the Tradesmen that built it a 10 out of 10 for his standard of workmanship, customer focus & professionalism.
That said the customer service I received throughout this process, although very friendly, was nothing shy of appalling, boat was ordered in May 2019 with an agreed 5 month Pre-Christmas delivery, 14 months later, after another 4 failed delivery commitments, (understandably 1 due to Covid), in July 2020 I finally received the boat, and what I received was not entirely fit-for-purpose to enter into MOSS.
Deck seat width 60mm too narrow to meet MOSS compliance and 1 of the removable seat squabs permanently fixed, hawse pipe I supplied not fitted, forward cabin sliding door not fitted, it was agreed that a privacy curtain would be fitted instead, this didnβt happen either, fridge mounting flange not fitted as agreed, outdoor gas fitting on the wrong side of the boat. I then find out, only after receiving the boat, that the warranty period is 1 year for commercial vessels, after being told at my site visit that it has a 5 year warranty.
I emailed Senator praising them about their product, and raising my concerns in an effort to get these things resolved and I wasnβt even shown the professional courtesy of a response, I was shocked to learn that Senator have refused to offer any form of compensation for the loss of income I have suffered due to extremely late delivery, or to do the right thing and make-good on the items that they failed to install correctly to the specification ordered, or to refund me the purchase price of the items I supplied that were not included, I was very surprised with the overall lack of accountability, and level of customer service I received as a repeat customer. If it wasnβt for the communication and support I received through the dealership, I would have cancelled this order.
