“This is the 2nd time I have used this service and both experiences have been excellent. The 1st time was April/May 2016 replacing an Infinity unit which had blown. Rod’s quote was the best by far out of four others for price, installation, time and efficiency for my property. The 2nd time was this year May 2017, I had a burst pipe in the main bathroom. There was no mucking around, within an hour, Rod had assessed and fixed the pRodlem. He didn’t time waste with unnecessary movement under the house or in the roof cavity. As can happen with some trades…. Overall, I would highly recommend Sharp Plumbing Services! Ease of service, great communication, excellent work ethos, you will not regret it. Thanks, Rod!”

The plumber was courteous and friendly, and he tidied up after himself when the job was done. We were also pleasantly surprised when we received the bill. I highly recommend Rod and his his team.

As I had to take him inside to explain aspects of the problem I asked him to don a mask, but he refused to, so he left. I rang the office and left a message asking to be contacted but have heard nothing. Not very professional and not customer-focussed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sharp Plumbing Services successfully unblocked two drains for me using a hydro jetting tool within a 12 month window. Very thorough work and both jobs were done well.
2-star rating is due to inconsistency in billing. First drain job cost $400 (not including after-hours call out fee). Second drain was simpler and cost $550 with no after hours call-out fee applied.
When I asked about the increased price Sharp Plumbing Services was unable to justify it to me in a way that accounted for the $150 price increase. Not wanting it to become a headache I then offered a solution where I would promptly pay the bill in full if they just agreed that the extra cost was justified by the time saved. Surprisingly they wouldn't agree to that and instead threatened me with court action instead!
Not worth the headache.
