★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best stays we have had in NZ 2019. Just thinking back about our trip and found it directly in google maps. Thanks once again for such an amazing stay and enjoying the sunset and night sky in the hot tub!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shearvue cottage is the perfect sanctuary to unwind and relax after a stressful time. I've been here thrice with different people each time & we've never been disappointed. The views are simply spectacular and the cottage is cosy and very warm. For someone who has grown up in big cities, being able to experience farm life is such a blessing. Julie & Tony offer so much for such an affordable price: comfort, yummy fresh eggs & breakfast supplies, an amazing hot tub with the perfect opportunity to stargaze on a clear night, experiences with tons of animals & so many of their wonderful stories of their times in NZ and around the world. Thanks to these wonderful, friendly hosts for opening their home to guests and sharing their knowledge & surroundings with this. Can't wait to go back again and stay for longer!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the pleasure of staying at Sher-vue. From the moment we arrived to when we left we were made to feel very welcomed.
The two bedroom cottage was very well appointed. Beautifully comfortable beds with great pillows.
Julie had taken the time to add the extras, there were fresh eggs from her hens, pancake mixture that you could make up (complete with instructions) and a variety of spreads and cereals for breakfast.
The spa pool was a great way to relax while looking over at the views on the farm.
Julie also took us on a tour of their farm. We could bottle feed the lambs and fed the alpacas and sheep.
I would highly recommend staying at Shear-vue, it's a slice of kiwi magic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had an absolutely wonderful stay with Julie and Toby at Shear-vue. Everything really exceeded all of our expectations. The accommodation was clean and tidy with essentially all amenities provided. The kitchen was stocked with anything you could need and Julie provided a fantastic continental breakfast. My son's enjoyed exploring the farm, jumping on the trampoline, and seeing lots of tractors and even a big digger! My parent and I loved the spa pool at night - the perfect way to relax after a busy day with two kids!!
