β β β β β We have become increasingly frustrated and let down in working with Shire Geotechnics. We signed a client authorisation form in July 2020, a whole two years ago. Our project has needed a number of adaptations and changes required by the council and each time we have waited a huge amount of time (sometimes months) for simple changes to be made to our reports. Without these we are unable to move forward with our project. We have currently been waiting over 4 weeks for James to complete very small revisions to a wastewater plan. This is the very last document for the resource consent in what has been a two and a half year saga for our small house. Every time we call, James promises to have it with the us the next day. Weeks later we are still waiting. We consider this is very unprofessional behaviour and Shire Geotechnics are definitely not putting their customers first. We are completely stuck, let down and would not recommend any individual work with this company.

James and his team were professional, worked fast and essentially saved the day!
We ended up selling our property with a fantastic result, all because of the speedy results of the geo-report.

β β β β β We made a request for land movement assessment on Friday before the weekend, Shire Geotechics was able to perform an assessment on Monday morning for us. They were prompt and communicative and their advise was professional and on point. We will not hesitate to use them again.
