★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Foreman and owner are pigs. I worked here for 2 years along side Travis Barnes who was my foreman at the time. Absolutely horrible person. Destroyed my mental health, antagonized and put me down every chance he could get. Don't know how I lasted 2 years! Travis Barnes also managed to hospitalise the manager at the time, Bruce Clarke. On top of that, Travis had managed to chop 3 fingers off my good mate, and ex work coligue, Gabriel. The owner Marty Comer took a blind eye to all this and continues to let Travis work here. Disgusting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Working as an apprentice here the foreman amputated my fingers whilst I was checking a drive belt by turning on the truck without warning. He hasn't apologized for it yet and seems to think he's done nothing wrong. He still works there. He also kicked the manager in the head at a christmas function, whom to this day is still suffering from brain damage. The owner Marty Comer has taken the side of the foreman Travis Barnes as a way to save money because he is the only other qualified mechanic on the floor. Marty has since fired the manager during his time of recovery because he deemed him "Medically unfit" as a result of his assault. I wouldn't go within 100 meters of the place it's full of lunatics.

I do not recommend coming here and using their service, unless you want to support a business that exploits their workers and injures them with life changing injuries - then doesn't take any accountability and tries to sweep it under the rug. The foreman amputated 3 fingers of one of their ex-apprentices and still refuses to own up to their mistake, they're even still employed here after seriously injuring other staff members in the past too. All of this has been publicised in the media with the article coming out in NZ Herald about this particular incident, yet nothing has been done by this company. Extremely poor work ethics, no health and safety training either.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not recommended, they possess an apathetic and non sympathetic view towards health and safety and workers rights, leading to the amputation of a young workers fingers of which they failed to show remorse and make amends for. Which goes to show the moral incompetency of the company for starters, and one must also question the professionalism, knowledge and general competency of the company if a horrible accident like this is allowed to happen in the first place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not support this company. The foreman is unprofessional and has never owned up to his actions when he amputated a former worker’s fingers off while on the job. It’s been months now and they’re still letting this man work for the company. This says a lot about the company itself. The owners are trying to hide this and sweep it under the rug. There has been no health and safety training for the workers and this isn’t the first time something dangerous like this has happened before. They don’t care about the workers, they only care about saving their own image.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome diesel mechanic. Went to these guys with a leaking diesel pump, they gave me a price over the phone and after calling a couple of others who gave wildly different prices but all estimates. I went to these guys. Dropped it off Monday arvo and had the van back Wednesday !.
They stuck to the price and even did a couple of other bit free of charge. The guys even gave me a full run through of the work and showed me how it had failed. For me, someone who normally does there own work this was reassuring and geez he knows his stuff.
Really honest guys and would not hesitate to go back or recommend them to anyone else. Five stars and thanks.
