★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small dell surrounded by Bush. We have never encountered so many native birds in a bush. There is in excess of 70 Kereru and hundreds of Tui. Mid afternoon is almost deafening with bird song. We have been here 3 days. Long drop for tourists which are plentiful early evening until late. We will make this our go too as not far from home but astoundingly beautiful

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very basic (but free!) campsite, with a parking area and an open field for camping. They have a bathroom, no water. The grass in the field had not been cut recently, so it may not have been good with a tent. We had a campervan, so we didn't mind.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately the bridge is closed. A couple of vans could park the other side but it's less inspirational views.
Walk in and tent is still an option.
Will definitely come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A bare bones camping ground. Just a grass field surrounded by woods. One toilet (bring your own paper). One table with benches. No water source.
An OK place to stay when you are prepared for it, but may not suit those used to services.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quiet little camping ground. It is free to stay the night here. There is a simple toilet, just a hole in the ground. Good enough to stay 1 night if you're travalling alot.
