About Site Studio
You’re here cause you want to know more about me before reaching out for a website chinwag, yeah? I’ll give you a small overview because even though you want to know more, you probably aren’t interested in the time I *may* have fractured my shoulder horse riding.
Here goes…
My name is Jess. Born in Australia and grew up in Tauranga. I spent most of my days in or on water, still do. Starfish spotting around Mount Maunganui rock pools, wakeboarding at Lake Rotoma and everything between. I’m kinda like a mermaid, without the tail and the ability to breathe underwater.
Spending 8+ years in office management for the early part of my working life. Although I enjoyed it, I wanted to do something I loved, I had no idea what that was at the time though. Office management was good for the mind and prepared me for running my own business but it wasn’t my forever career.
A friend asked me to design a website, I had dabbled in websites and had updated and maintained one for a few years. I knew a little, very little if I am honest. I was savvy though and have an eye for the good things. So I said YES! After that site I enrolled for courses, joined coding groups and started having long, late nights in front of my computer . I wanted to learn it all. A passion was brewing. That passion became an immense love and 2 years later Site Studio was born.
So here I am, a self taught Website Designer living in the beautiful Bay of Plenty. I have an incredible family, 1 Husband, 2 babes and 2 fur pals.
I am soft soul, a giver, a maker and a fierce supporter of anyone who wants to start, refresh or improve. A lover of helping, creating and enhancing.
