About Skills Update Training & Education Group Tauranga
Assisted by numerous stake holders such as Tertiary Education Commission, Ministry of Social Development, New Zealand Police, Iwi, High Schools, Polytechnics, Sport Organisations and thousands of employers in diverse industrial fields we have achieved results that exceed our early aspirations. Over the past 28 years, over 45000 students have graduated and successfully entered the workforce or continued into higher education and training. We offer a diverse campus that embraces students and staff from many different cultural backgrounds.
In early 2021, Skills Update was acquired by LIFE Community, a faith-based community agency delivering initiatives such as Christmas Box, LIFE Community Kitchens, LIFE Homes and Quality Education Services (QES), another registered private training establishment located in South Auckland.
LIFE Community is committed to bringing help and hope to generations through the provision of social services, and through partnership with central government, delivery of educational programmes. We look to continue Skills Update’s reputation for excellence, and are excited to work alongside the all generations of students, whom we hope will become leaders in their path of endeavour.
