Slipstream Automation, based in Palmerston North, New Zealand, was established in 2005 to provide automated services and support for organisations involved in Marker Assisted Selection (MAS) and other large-scale DNA extraction/genetic screening projects.
Slipstream Automation is committed to promoting the uptake of genomics technologies by New Zealand’s agricultural industry – a goal that requires low cost, innovative solutions to the bottlenecks and hurdles currently in place.
To achieve this in such a rapidly evolving field, our multi-disciplinary team develop and utilise custom-built hardware, chemistries and protocols to offer DNA extraction and screening services at low cost, with rapid turn-around times.
