This website was born out of FRUSTRATION…

I was fed up of searching for local businesses and tradies on line and just getting a list of phone numbers to call.

Let’s face it, this is time consuming for both me the customer and you the service provider.

Especially if you’re a one man band – or a solopreneur as I like to call it.

You know the scenario…

• The phone rings, you’re busy working, your answerphone asks the caller to leave a message, they don’t – potential new customer lost
• The phone rings, you’re busy working, your answerphone asks the caller to leave a message, they leave a message asking you to call back – you do, they’re not in, you try again, they still don’t answer, you’re busy so you now forget to call again – another potential customer lost
• The phone rings, you’re busy working, your answerphone asks the caller to leave a message, they do, you call them back only to find out they were asking for a service you don’t offer – valuable time wasted

So who am I to build your website for you?

My name is Kay Gill and I live here in Levin, New Zealand.  I am a Personal Development Coach working with people from all walks of life, many of which are people running their own small business.  So how come I build websites?

Now that’s a good question…  and the answer is pretty much the same as why I’ve chosen to build this one!  I was FRUSTRATED!

I knew I needed a website.  I knew I needed to be out there online for people to get to know me before they made the decision to contact me. For many the idea of coaching is a very scary thing and I needed people to be able to get to know, like and trust me before they handed over their hard earned cash.

The thing is… I found it hard to find someone to build one for me!

I was a complete novice when it came to websites.  I had no idea of what I wanted or what could be done.  I didn’t know what I didn’t know so couldn’t even ask the questions I needed to ask!  You may recognise this place.

And at every turn I felt I was being ripped off.  There were all those hidden extras, extortionate monthly ‘maintenance’ costs I simply couldn’t afford.

The companies I approached wanted me to do so much work towards my website that I eventually decided to just do it myself and so I did… that’s the way I roll!

It was a long and tortuous learning process but at least at the end of it I had a website that reflected me and my business.

From there, it wasn’t long before I was being asked by friends and colleagues in the same positions as myself to build their websites for them too and so it began.

Over the years I have become well versed in all things websitey!   I’ve also come to realise that your website doesn’t have to be convoluted and intricate.  In fact exactly the opposite.   All people want is a simple, easy to read, easy to navigate website to let them get to know who you are, what you can do and most importantly, what you can do for them.

And that’s where I come in.

I have developed a simple, three step process with no hidden costs to get you online with a great website that reflects your business and my coaching background means I have the skills to understand you and your business really well really quickly.
