★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Finally after 4 months of mucking me around regarding my window screen finally they told me to take my vehicle to their opposition to get it fixed. Absolutely no customer care or what so ever. Definitely need more training on euro cars. Had to take my own advisor from Audi dealership so they can get an advice on how to take out a screen. Would not recommend at all. Very rude on the phone and not very helpful. Speaking of their top manager in head office Donna Cullen, been on the phone to her regarding my screen they were going to charge me $14,000 for a window screen to arrive from Germany by the time it arrived after 2 months they notified me they need more parts so had to wait longer again. Would not return to smith and smith ever again. Deal with them at your own risk

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good service once they accept insurance details. Minor damage meant no need for windscreen repair this time but asked for and was given free of charge not 1 but 2 windscreen rego holders that replace one always pealing off with the heat.
PS just a service desk closest driveway to Hornby but has a comfortable sofa etc and liquid refreshments like tea coffee and water while you wait.

It's about head office and what appears to be a total indifference to the client. 0800 number only ... long phone queues ... don't always get the right informatio. So very poor service from the start w long waits and poor guidance (spent 3/4 hour trying to find out if they could do the job ... operator in Auckland didn't know her stuff). Spent over 30 minutes driving around the block so late for my appodirectly on a 80km motorway with a median strip in the middle. It takes 10+ minutes to drive around the 'block' therefore very late for my appointment...which I couldn't ring them about because there's no phone!!! So no ... I will never use again. Someone up high needs to get things sorted. Staff on the ground are working hard w a very disgruntled clientele.

Vehicle had failed wof as it had a small stone chip in cva. Insurance job for repair, I was told it was able to be fixed. They seemed more intent to sell me new wiper blades, I said that the car had just been serviced, and wof, and wipers were not a problem.
Picked up car after repair, it was confirmed to me that it would now be fine for a wof. Again told wipers where in poor condition, but I told them I would question it with T****a when I go back for wof retest.
I was surprised that I could still easily see the stone chip from both inside and out.
So, the windscreen repair failed the wof. I was then advised to go to N***s and get them to replace the windscreen.
Incidentally T****a could not fault the wiper blades, and stated that they would have advised me if replacement was necessary.
Arrive at N***s, told them my story and they rolled their eyes and didn’t seem surprised.
They ordered me a new windscreen, sorted everything with insurance company… problem solved.
Advise would be to read this… then show someone else your crack.
