★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best spot to purchase fresh organic veges. People are lovely, music is great, produce is top grade , well presented with great selection. Also buy lovely coffee, olives, Bread etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love love love this market. Best little market in Christchurch. Fresh vege, delicious breads and treats, lovely preserves (chilli olives oh my!!!), cheese, flowers and more. Not everything is organic though, pays to ask. Top quality buskers too and awesome coffee too. I don't go anywhere else on a Sunday morning!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ That is our Sunday treat. We love going to the market and catch up with friends. We prefer this market, as itnis vegetarian market. Coffee is great, good selection of veggies, bread, warm meals and drinks.

I like coming down to the Opawa Farmers Market when I can and I enjoy the atmosphere and everyone I usually met are sweet and welcoming. They're very knowledgeable about the organic food and produce that they're selling and it's lovely to support small local businesses as well~

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a lovely atmosphere this market has! The produce is so fresh and the coffee, first class! Besides the veggies and the live music, there are gorgeous sourdough breads, hazelnut cakes and fresh apples and juice. What I most like is that it's quick to get in and out.
