★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We did the two island self-guided tour on a Triumph 800 Tiger and BMW 800 GS. We picked the things we wanted to do from their extensive list and they created the route, purchased entrance to activities and set up the hotels. They also provided GPSs and luggage for the bikes.
The folks were very friendly and helpful. I dropped my bike and broke the clutch lever which looked like a problem for continuing, but they had the part to me and had it installed by the next day.
If you haven't ridden New Zealand yet, you are missing some of the best scenery on earth. Awesome trip.

They obviously cared that we were having a good time, keeping in touch throughout the trip and quickly dealt with the one accommodation issue that we encountered on the way. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took my 2004 Yamaha XJR 1300 in for a service and it came back like a new bike. Prior to taking the bike in, there were a few rattles and noises that I had come to accept with a bike that age but once Dave-who I suspect is a very gifted mechanic-had worked it over, the bike was silky smooth. From chain to gear-shifting to wheels. Got a service, tyre change and warrant done for fair and reasonable rates. Taking your machine in for servicing to new guys can be a bit of a lottery but I'm glad I took mine to these guys because the difference before in after was huge. A super friendly, service orientated business who deliver the goods.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A friend and I had the pleasure of renting two bikes from South Pacific Motorcycle Tours earlier this month. I have rented motorcycles all over the world and have never experienced such exceptional service and quality machinery.
The owners of this family run business— Mike & Carole—are as friendly and helpful as any on the planet. The motorcycles were in superlative shape, and we had no difficulties in our nine days of riding the South Island of New Zealand. I can’t think of a better place to ride motorcycles anywhere on the planet!
We were on an unguided tour with just the two of us, each on separate bikes. We had no knowledge of the South Island and greatly appreciated all the little details that were prearranged. The bikes’ GPS were programmed including great places for fuel and lunch, as well as our destination hotel each night. All lodging was arranged. All side trips including fly fishing and boat tours were organized and prepaid. They took all the pain out of traveling in a new country. I’ve never experienced this level service anywhere! My great thanks for a wonderful motorcycle vacation!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5 star! Great company! We are relatively new to the area so when our two bikes needed their annual WOF's these guys popped up on my google search for a local place.
They were so friendly and great to deal with. We were given an appointment time which was lovely, so no waiting in queues in hot bike gear!
They provided a lovely cool seating area for us to wait while our bikes were treated with care and respect.
It feels good to support a local business/family, and their selection of rental bikes is extensive, so we will definitely look at that as an option when our other biker friends fly in for a visit!
