★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am currently lobbying southern cross to change its stance on health screening. Currently they claim that prevention is not better than cure, when I asked them to cover a calcium score to check the condition of my heart they declined and hide behind some retorhric based on research. When asked to provide a copy of said research they couldn't.
Simply put I believe early diagnosis is a more equitable and cost effective stance than waiting to have a heart attack before I can make a claim! Strangely southern cross disagree!
This review was instigated by lack of response on this matter by southern cross. I have subsequently canceled my membership, southern cross health insurance is a scam!
