★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It doesn't get any better than when you are being guided by Jake in his well-known rivers and streams, the trout are elusive, Jake is an expert, he can even train incapable fisherman such as myself to catch amazing trout. You will always have great memories.

The days with him, whether helicoptering to a remote river, hiking some secret streams or having a beer with his mates have been some of the best fishing days i have ever had. Helps to be in NZ since it's so spectacular, but the guide makes the day.
I am actively looking forward to doing it again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jake is AMAZING! First off he is the world's greatest guide. His knowledge, expertise, and ability to motivate better angling is UNREAL. We did a 5 day guided trip and it was the best. It was my first time to NZ, and I'll be back just to hang out with Jake. I had the best fishing trip ever and learned a ton. New Zealand is so beautiful and it was astonishing to see it while catching the best fish of my life. Thanks again Jake!!!

Jake was recommended to me by a work colleague and now I would recommend him to anyone wanting a true NZ fishing experience. His passion for fishing, NZ and patience to cope with my fishing skills are second to non. He really provides a great overall experience. Top bloke to boot and after all of these years I now consider Jake a great mate that I look forward to meeting up with every year.
