★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Before doing Crystals Burlesque course, I would wear baggy tracksuit pants, big tshirts and hoodies. My self belief body image was "fat, heavy and over weight" and I wouldnt dream of performing by using "sparkly and sexy" with the size 18-20 I am. That I thought, was only for skinny people!
Once attending her courses AND actually performing on stage in Wellington with her routine, I had the courage for my 50th birthday to perform in front of my family and friends - something some people were totally shocked with!
The self limiting beliefs of what a Big Person should or shouldnt do, I broke free from - and I was/am confident, vivacious, sexy and free to be Me at the size and shape I am.
I still wear baggy tracksuit pants when I want to, lol, but I am no longer afraid to be vulnerable to what others say I should or shouldn't do, shouldn't wear or shouldnt dare to be.
I love my body just how I am, sexy, big and bold.
