β β β β β Arrived in Nelson from the UK in 1996 and did volunteer work at the SPCA for a short period, during which time we adopted a kitten which had been named Flint due to her colouring (which we kept). Moved to Perth WA in 2000 and took Flint with us. She finally succumbed to old age in 2017. Thank you Nelson SPCA for my beautiful Flint (still greatly missed).

β β β β β SPCA helped us on several occasions. We recently had to re-home a young dog SPCA found a new home very quickly and informed us what a great new home he now has. All staff very helpful especially Carmen Thank you team

β β β β β We got our beautiful staffy from here! I like their application process of matching the animals to the right owners + a visit to check if property is suitable. The Staff are friendly and helpful. Very happy with our experience so far.

β β β β β Lovely people, (who tend to get a bad rap from a minority of civilians, who have usually been caught abusing animals). An up standing charity who are doing their best with what they have, under the guidance of law & vets, to rescue, look after & (predominantly) re-home innocent animals.
To some animals, SPCA are heros.

β β β β β I have adopted two kittens from here, one last Christmas and one this past January. They are both happy, healthy bundles of fun, I can't imagine my life without them.
The people that work there are very friendly and let me take my time in selecting the kitten that I was going to give a forever home to. The cages are kept tidy and kitties have toys to play with and post for scratching, all the comforts of home.
I highly recommend adopting from the SPCA, you won't regret it.
