★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have never had a customer experience so appalling that I have had to write about it... Until now. Recently I booked a first-time Brazilian with Karen. Fifty dollars later and I really wish I hadn't wasted my money - it was the most awful experience! First, I had to prompt her in order to clean the area to be waxed and then the waxing itself was so painful I felt like crying afterwards. The hard wax she used was spread on far too thinly and was not pulled as close to the skin as possible so when she ripped it off the wax came apart and the residue wax stuck to the hair and the skin. That residue was also an unnecessary pain to remove. Surely there must be a better Brazilian waxing place than this and I strongly suggest taking your money elsewhere.

During that time Karen has developed her ever growing business in a professional manner with an environment that she keeps clean and on trend. Her latest face lift of the studio looks fabulous. I enjoy our chats and my waxing is completed in no time at all with as little pain as possible. My daughter had her 5th Birthday at Karen's with some close friends enjoying a pamper party. They thoroughly enjoyed it:) Karen has always been flexible with my appointments and understanding of my family circumstances with four young children. She has always been accommodating and I thank her for this. I would totally recommend Special Touch because it is what it says...Just that little bit extra special with Karen.

She is very flexible with appointments and also changes them for me at short notice which is great with my hectic schedule. Her prices are extremely reasonable and I love that I don't have to fight for a park in town. It's always a pleasure going to see Karen!
