About Speech Therapy Hawkes Bay
Bridget is a highly experienced speech language therapist who has more than 10 years of clinical practice diagnosing and treating adults with acquired communication and swallowing difficulties.
She has worked for DHBs in an inpatient and community setting, and currently works at Hawkes Bay DHB in addition to running a private clinic at ENTHHB In Ahuriri.
Bridget is able to conduct a specialised assessment of swallowing, Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES), onsite at the ENTHHB clinic in Ahuriri and is the only private speech language therapist in the region who is able to offer this service.
She can also arrange a referral to HBDHB for a Video Flouroscopic Swallowing Study (VFSS) should this be needed.
Bridget is passionate about using the latest technology and evidence based practice to create individualised therapy programs that work.
In her spare time Bridget enjoys painting and can often be seen out and about sketching the beautiful Hawkes Bay scenery.
Bridget is a registered member of the New Zealand Speech Language Therapists’ Association and the Laryngology Society of Australia.
