★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 25/05/2018 Gone Gone Gone and what a tragedy. St Andrews Church had to be one of the most photogenic little churches in Invercargill. It was a photographers dream with all the angles and corners.
One of the great points about this church was that it wasn't hidden by trees, other buildings or nasty drooping power cables. Another Invercargill building bites the dust.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A pretty picturesque wee church. Has a good hall available for community use. The steeple was almost falling down about 20 years ago until it was picked up by the aluminium smelter (NZAS) as a community project for their apprentices to work on. The steeple was totally recovered with aluminium provided by the smelter. (Church now demolished due to earthquake hazard).
