★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited St Mary’s in early spring which was a great idea. There were lambs. This Frederick de Jersey Clere church is the most rural church I’ve ever seen. It’s not in the middle of a little town or even on the edge of a little town. It’s on a farm surrounded by other farms surrounding farms that might have a little village nearby. It was totally worth the visit. We sat and had lunch on the front lawn and appreciated the flowers and new life that was coming up.
