β β β β β Well I would suggest then to put tags on each sushi. Chicken katsu and pork sushi always they mixup. This been 2nd time I pickedup pork sushi from the double katsu menu tag which was waste of money. It cost $11.20 its not cheap that can be forgettable.

β β β β β St. Pierres has long time been my favourite sushi place by far, so I'm happy to pay the prices for their quality. I just moved here from Christchurch so I was excited to see that there was a store here too. However, the quality I love did not show here. The chicken on rice was really nice, but the seafood sushi (8pc) tasted old and some rice was quite hard and cold - I was left unsatisfied. I can only assume it's because it doesn't sell as quickly as chicken and so it was sitting there for a while.
I guess I'll stick to the chicken or try going somewhere else.

β β β β β Have had mixed experiences here. Staff seem to run out of steam a bit by the end of the day. Tried to buy a sushi of the day by picking up one of the premade ones and they told me no - they have to make a new one for me. The one they made was exactly the same as the one i picked up except smaller sized sushi? Not sure what's going on with that - borderline false advertising if it's a cost cutting strategy.

β β β β β Was here on the 12th July for lunch.
Dining is feels a little bit crowded in so far as there are a few tables lined down the only bit of spare space they had.
That being said I have no complaints about the food whatever and in fact quite enjoyed it and was pretty good value for money.
I would be quite happy to return in the future.

β β β β β Really good Sushi rolls, best in Invercargill. Rice was perfect and fillings were great. Smoked salmon was awesome. Only issue is I suspect the Wasabi is Horseradish dyed, which is normal but the real deal would be next level.
