It was a struggle to get the quality we were told we would receive, in the end I had to get masterbuild to get things redone and also had to pay another company to repaint our lounge and kitchen area as the finish was an absolute joke, we are still left with issues that obviously we have to fix ourselves, these guys would be great if your after cheap workmanship but not quality, we were very happy with bays joinery, laser plumbing and bright sparks who all did great work, in our build the main problem was the builder not being able to build a straight wall and very rough finishing

I was told someone would get back to me but a week after the given date and I still haven't heard from them

Built with Stonewood 4 years 2 months ago. Stonewood came around to do the final check approximately 8 months after we moved in. The inspection team were shown holes in the Rockcote cladding / how the front door would not close and that the door handle was coming off / showed leaking in both showers / showed gap at the bottom of ensuite shower door which let water out....we were promised that all issues would be fixed. One year to fix the gap at the bottom of the ensuite shower and the front door handle and the leaking in the main shower. Having lived in the house for 2 years we noticed paint peeling in the ensuite above the window and cracks in the ensuite ceiling. We called Stonewood and a site foreman was sent to inspect .....we were informed that the paint was fine, we had caused it by having showers at night ( ? )...same response re the ceiling cracks.... The site foreman was re shown the problems with the exterior and again some one from Rockcote was going to come and inspect the cladding ( we were however told that we had caused the holes by washing the house exterior ) STILL WAITING for Rockcote person. Having lived in the house for 2 years 4 months our dish washer stopped working properly and Stonewood again was called ....a phone message was left with them and we called in personally to see them but no one ever bothered to return our call or respond to our visit. Having been in the house 3 years 6 months we again called to inquire about the issues that had not yet been fixed and that we were still waiting to be rectified i.e. Exterior cladding Shower leaking Front Door sticking Peeling paint in ensuite Cracks in ensuite ceiling Dishwasher not working properly Result was that two guys came from aluminium place came and fixed our door....REST OF LIST STILL NOT FIXED. Today ...4 years 2 months after build completion date Stonewood was called again ( 6th time ) to again ask about the time frames for remedy of the ongoing issues ...... we also now need to add to the list that our garage door, over the last 3 months no longer closes completely. So list now reads as i.e. Exterior cladding Front Door sticking Shower leaking Peeling paint in ensuite Cracks in ensuite ceiling Dishwasher not working properly Garage door not closing properly Hopeful that we might get some resolution as we have been promised ( yet again ) by Brent ( managing director) that we will get a phone call tomorrow ( 09/07/2020)
