Summerset by the Ranges is a well-established, beautiful village situated to the south east of Levin in the heart of Horowhenua. Framed by the spectacular Tararua Ranges, the village is only a short drive to the Levin town centre.
About Summerset by the Ranges
Will is our Chief Financial Officer and GM Corporate Services.
He is responsible for Finance and Corporate Services including IT, Marketing, Legal, Property and the Project Management Office.
Before joining Summerset in 2021, Will was Chief Financial Officer of the Building Products division at Fletcher Building. He has previously been Fletcher Building’s General Manager Strategy and Portfolio, and Chief Financial Officer of the Residential & Land Development division. Prior to his roles at Fletcher Building, Will held various roles in corporate finance.
He holds an MBA from the University of Auckland, a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Auckland Business School, and an Economics degree from the University of New South Wales.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I find Summerset by the Ranges to be well designed with lovely trees and gardens. I am moving into Villa 78 on Saturday 17 October 2015. They have a lot of activities for those who wish to take advantage of them. They take residents into town to shop or browse. They make you feel very welcome. I am looking forward to moving in without the worries of owning your own home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I found Summerset by the Ranges terrible. The unit I was put in was 1 bedroom, small and inundated with cockroaches. I had 2 dogs but only allowed to keep 1. Meals were expensive. I went into town to organize meals for myself. I ended up sending my female dog to a vet because she had diarrhea and she picked up on my stress. My male dog was put in the SPCA. He was bought and returned several times, then 1 of the nurses from Summerset took him and I couldn't get him back from her when I left there after 3 horrific months. We had to buy our own apartment plus food and rent. Not much money left after that was taken out of my pension. The people who lived there were friendly. No activities were organized apart from a couple. I was glad to get out of there and thankful I got my money back. I wouldn't recommend Summerset to my worst enemy. I've been away from there now for more than 4 years, but the memories remain.
